MCDB Seminar Series
One feature of the weekly MCDB seminars, which are held each Tuesday at 4PM in MBB 1.220, is a meeting of the seminar speaker with graduate students and postdocs.
Each spring MCDB has a one day retreat at the Austin Wildflower Center. Students present posters and talks, and have an opportunity to meet with the keynote speaker. For 2009, the keynote speaker will be Philip Benfy of Duke.
