People
The teaching and research activities of MCDB depend on the people who work here. We are fortunate to have an interactive faculty who are exploring the frontiers of biology, and a great administrative staff to support those activities.
For the 20012/20013 academic year we have 23 tenure-track faculty members and 2 adjuncts. In addition, 2 lecturers are associated with MCDB. The most recent arrivals is Jonghwan Kim, who joined the faculty in Fall 2011. Our faculty has received a number of awards, including an NSF CAREER Award, others.
The MCDB administrative staff are located in BIO. They provide infrastructure support for personnel, ordering, accounting, travel, the seminar series, and administration.
