CONGRATULATIONS TO VISHWANATH IYER:

On April 28th, 2010 MGM faculty member Vishwanath Iyer was awarded a College of Natural Sciences Teaching Excellence Award for 2009-2010.

The nominations for teaching awards in the Section of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology are recommended by a teaching awards committee.  The committee identified Professor Iyer because of his very good teaching evaluations last year and because he has been effectively teaching graduate and undergraduate courses for a number of years.
