Important Dates & Upcoming Events

Important Dates: 

We highly recommend that you meet with an academic advisor before you change the status of a course.

  • Jan. 30:  Twelfth class day. Last day to drop a course online; No Q on transcript.
  • Feb. 11:  Last day of Auto-Q. You may drop a course at our front desk in Painter 1.13 or WCH 1.106. A Q will appear on your transcript. Although no signatures are required, we do recommend that you speak with an advisor first.
  • Mar. 10-15:  Spring Break. Be safe!
  • Mar. 24:  Last day to apply to graduate, register in absentia, change a course to pass/fail, Q-drop a course with professor & advisor approval, or withdraw from the University.

Upcoming Events:

  • February 18:  Health Professions Fair in the Texas Union Ballroom from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Major Exploration & Student Services Fair in the Speedway Corridor from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • April 14-25:  Summer & Fall Registration
  • May 17: Graduation Festivities!!! School of Biological Sciences Convocation Ceremony in the Erwin Center at 12 p.m.  UT Wide Commencement in the Main Mall at 7 p.m.  Arrive early for good seats!
