Research Summary
Intercellular and extracellular interactions drive the formation of multicellular systems and the emergent behaviors that characterize these systems. In my group, we work to understand how cells interact with each other and with their environment, and how these interactions play into the formation and responses of multicellular systems. We use a combination of biological and physical tools in a highly-interactive, multidisciplinary environment, to probe interactions on molecular, cellular, and multicellular lengthscales.
