During your first academic year in the Microbiology Graduate Program (September 2013-May 2014), you will be supported through an ICMB Fellowship. First year graduate students enrolled in the Ph.D. program in Microbiology may receive an annual stipend of $28,000 during the 2013-2014 academic year. Additional support for students in the Microbiology Program may come from a combination of research assistantships, teaching appointments, University Fellowships and Microbiology Endowments.
Tuition and fees and health insurance will also be covered. At the end of your three rotations during your first year, you will select a permanent laboratory that will provide continuing stipend and tuition support (starting in Summer 2014).
