Research

Clare is a third-year student working towards her MS in Plant Biology. She is interested in plant-microbe interactions, focusing on microbial succession in natural ecosystems and legacy effects of invasive plant species on soil microbes. Clare works in shrubland ecosystems at Archbold Biological Station (www.archbold-station.org) in central Florida and has also contributed greatly to our restoration experiments at the site. Clare also makes the world’s best spinach balls and is an amazing knitter.
