Jenny is a third-year PhD student in Plant Biology interested in how soil microbes and microbial processes are affected by altered climate. She is working along a steep precipitation gradient in central Texas, using a combination of field sampling and lab incubations to look at microbial community composition and function under increasing drought stress. Jenny is also an accomplished tri-athlete who sometimes runs marathons for fun.
