Neuroethology / Animal Behavior The Section of Integrative Biology of the University of Texas at Austin seeks applications for an Assistant Professor in the area of Neuroethology and/or Animal Behavior to begin September 2009. The successful applicant will join a strong program in behavior, ecology, and evolution, with strengths in sensory ecology, behavioral ecology, neuroendocrinology, behavioral genomics, phylogenetics, and population biology. Applicants may work on any organisms, but candidates working on arthropod neuroethology/behavior are particularly encouraged to apply. A Ph.D. is required in Biological Sciences or related areas and postdoctoral experience is preferred. Teaching duties will include an undergraduate course in animal behavior and a graduate course in the candidates' area of interest.
