Dennis Schneider has been an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Microbiology at UT-Austin since 1986. He has taught courses in biotechnology, introductory microbiology, microbial biochemistry and physiology as well as microbial ecology. Employed full time as Corporate Vice President and Director of Research and Development for a private biotechnology company located in Round Rock, Texas, he has worked in various aspects of the biotechnology industry for over 15 years. An avid scuba diver, he is a PADI OSWI (open water scuba instructor). He is member of MENSA and is listed in Who's Who in America and Who's Who in the World.
