Maturation and Fruit Color with B. swaseyi, plant S8
From late April to the end of June, the full sized fruits of survey plant S8 developed from green to yellowish to yellowish-pink to mostly pink to mostly red to dark red with a weak glaucous bloom giving a bluish cast.
With B. swaseyi plants the final color shift to red typically occurs relatively rapidly, a matter of days.
