Policies & Charges

Turn around time

  • when you can expect your finished project depends on complexity of work standard turn around time is 3-4 days. Quicker turn around times are available depending on the project and our workload (there is an additional charge for rush jobs)

How to submit workworkorder

  • fill out a workorder with class or account number
  • preliminary hand sketches
  • hard copies indicating cropping and labels
  • verbal or written definition of what you want
  • email with follow up reply

Media accepted

  • usb drive
  • CD
  • email attachment with follow up to make sure file is received

Applications

  • Adobe Photoshop
    • Software good for photo manipulation composits and image slides
  • Adobe Illustrator
    • Good for drawings, can also be used for slides and composites
  • Adobe InDesign
    • Good text layout software, images can be imported and text wrapped around image
  • Deneba Canvas
    • Good for importing different formats, slide presentations and compositions
  • Microsoft Powerpoint, Word and Excel
    • Powerpoint is very popular for slides, although not one of our favorites. You can import graphs and text done in Excel and Word but it is harder to manipulate

Charges

  • Charges are for supplies, bring an account number when you submit your work. If you are nto charging to your professor, a grant or class please submit money to the various donors account so you can be billed. (See Allan Bonin)
