Neuroscience, the study of the nervous system, advances our understanding of human thought, emotion, and behavior. Neuroscience is a interdisciplinary field that draws on expertise from numerous disciplines, including biology, chemistry, computer science, mathematics, physics, and psychology.  To meet the needs of students with diverse interests the Department offers four undergraduate degrees through the College of Natural Science: BS in Neuroscience, BS in Biology with a Neurobiology emphasis: BSA in Neuroscience, and Honors Degree in Neuroscience. Each of these degree programs provide rigorous, multidisciplinary training and can serve as a foundation for a career in research, health care, academics or biotechnology.
