Thank You to Our Staff and to the Supporters of the 2013 Bio Sci Staff Appreciation and Farewell Luncheon!

In early August the School of Biological Sciences held our annual Staff Appreciation Luncheon for our administrative staff and lecturers. We had excellent food that was catered by O's Campus Cafe. We enjoyed good food and good conversation and people seemed to enjoy themselves.

This particular luncheon was bittersweet due to recent news. In addition to being an appreciation luncheon, this was also a farewell luncheon. We said goodbye to Dr. Hank Bose, who will be retiring as our Director at the end of August. We were also saying goodbye to the School itself. We are undergoing a reorganization, so this event was our last as the School of Biological Sciences.

We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who helped make this luncheon a positive experience. We would also like to thank our staff and lecturers once again for making the School a success. We couldn't have succeeded without you and you have been a vital part of this institution.
